Meet Catherine

Hello!  Welcome to my busy life!  I have 5 perfectly imperfect children, 1 big, old, sweet dog, 4 kitty cats, and I am blessed to be married to my best friend.  Whether it's sweeping the kitchen or taking a stroll along the beach, I believe in finding beauty and joy in all things. You can often find me with paintbrush in hand ready to tackle my next furniture makeover. I love looking for a bargain piece  and making it my own.  I am currently a homeschooling mom and never imagined in a million years that this is what I would be doing in my life! I love it.  The last 4 years have kept me extra busy putting my daughters needs first. I invite you to read about her journey here.  I am so excited that now, all the thoughts rattling around in my head are making it to the keyboard!  

 

Meet the people that inspire me~5 of the most lovable human beings God created.

My husband and I met when we were young teens at bible camp. We grew up, experienced life in the real world, and didn't have an inkling of each other until 10 years later. We reconnected through our church and here we are today, 12 years later and still in love. He is my right hand man when it comes to all my projects. He is a scholar turned carpenter. Regular jack of all trades. My encourager and my constant reminder of God's hand in my life. Through all the joys and trials we face, he is my Mr. Steady.

 

 

I have lived in the Midwest, South, and now, by God's perfect plan, am kicking up dust in the Wild West! Blooming where I've been planted.
